The resort is situated close to the airport. That is why we choose it for one night before the departure. Otherwise we would not recommend it for a beach holiday. The resort needs some maintenance and at least our room a good cleaning. We were disappointed about the beach. There was a lot of dirt and it seems that is has been for a long time (piles of garbage). It seemed to us the the prices for services and food were slightly higher than elsewhere.
After a lots of late nights in Chaweng my partner and I wanted some peace and quiet so we purposely chose Nai Yang Beach and conveniently it was only 10 minutes from the airport. Hotel staff on reception were not overly welcoming or useful when wanting to find out information. However, this aside a nice hotel with two big pools and 2 minutes from a lovely beach in the National Park. It was very quiet when we were there in August and it was like having ouor own private pool and hotel staff to look after us. The hotel restaurant served good food and provided a variety of dishes for breakfast. The only downside to the room was dodgy plumbing where the shower runs hot and cold. If you have long hair good look with getting it rinsed properly!!
With Asia Rooms deal, it was the best value for money at Nai Yang :
- The beach is at 200m,
- for kitesurfers, KBA is at 400m
- a lot of restaurants, massage stands around
- very nice staff
- very nice resort and nice big room
- only thing don't take the rooms at the back of the resort :
- very far from the lobby
- don't worth to pay so much for basic room
Nice beach location, close to shopping, dining, beach, and airport was 3 minutes by taxi. Nice warm pools, clean and comfortable accomodations, with breakfast buffet included. Not sure how it would for longer stays, as far as tours etc. Given proximity to airport didn't find it loud.
This is a short stay hotel and for that it is good value. The guests at breakfast seem intent on putting as much in a bag as in their mouths but this is ourist land. Choice of 3 pools..a Delux room was not that delux but adequate. The grounds are lovely and some of the food from Beach restaurants in very good. Taxi's cost 200 Baht from airport to Hotel.
Had a lovely time at the Nai Yang, great for what we needed although one of the rooms had a bad sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Pools are beautiful and food at breakfast was good. Near the airport (5mins taxi) but no noise, and nice quiet little resort with plenty of family friendly bars and places to eat. Hotel staff helpful, rooms clean and spacious but fairly basic. Great if you want reasonably priced accomodation close to airport to relax or see the rest of phuket.
