Hotel room is clean and spacious. The only setback is dusty because of the road construction right in front of the hotel. Breakfast is lousy and service is poor. Hospital located just opposite the hotel, very bad fengshui.
After 2 weeks of travel around Thailand...
After 2 weeks of travel around Thailand our two groups of friends found the Nipa Resort to be a jewel in the crown!
The friendliness and service from the lovely staff was impeccable.
The Nipa is quite new, only 2 years. So its rooms and amenities are very clean and tidy.
Upon arrive the lady that showed me to my room told me they have a “nice room for you sir”. I could tell they had pride in the work they did, and it showed the room was perfectly presented. The bed was made for a photo in any brochure!
In short, I (all of us agreed) we would have no hesitation in recommending the Nipa!
Just for some info for those booking, the Pool access rooms on the ground floor (they only have about 6-8) are fantastic if you want to come home, open the door and sit on the little balcony and have a drink and then slip into the pool at will. Otherwise the big double bed room I had on the first floor still has very easy access to the pool, just not the convenience if you like to swim a lot. We booked both type of rooms so could use friends room when we wanted to join them. Access to beach road, beach & restaurants is easy via straight main rd to beach, about 10 mins walk, quiet easy. Patong Hospital opposite (no noises don’t worry) has an ATM, and there is a Seven-11 4 mins away turn right on main rd.
GO!!!! BOOK! Have fun!
The hotel is not that convenient as...
The hotel is not that convenient as a fair walk is needed to the beach. But the pool does make up for this as its very relaxing. Breakfast spread is basic and breakfast staff is totally ignorant of guest as coffee needed to be asked numerous times before u r serve. As staff tend to stand among themselves and chatter more than serve. :(
On the bright side the hotel is nice and cosy esp the pool. i would only recommend if you are just happy lying by the pool and chill. Price wise its not that reasonable for what they offer. On the whole its a nice cosy hotel.

location 5 min walking to the beach, rooms big and clean, break fast not that much good but more than enough for me.
