We have just spent 9 nights at the nippa resort and was very impressed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The hotel is in a quiet location bit only a short walk from the action. They run a curtisy bus down to the beach.
The breakfast was nice but I wouldn't recomend the hotel for dinner.
I would recomend paying the extra for the room with pool access, it's well worth it.
If we went back to patong we would definetly stay at the nippa again.

Beautiful secluded resort hotel, close to all the sights and night spots, but far enough away to ignore them. Access Pool Deluxe room a treat. A short walk to the new Jung Ceylon shopping centre, opposite the best markets in Phuket.

Whilst the room was nice enough, with a small balcony although with no furniture. The swimming pool very large and attractive. Aircon worked well but cannot be left on, need key to be in slot for electric to work. The breakfast i felt was poor.
We booked a deluxe room but could not really see what the difference would be between standard and deluxe. The overall position of the hotel is a bit far out.
Also there is a lot of building work going on outside of the hotel which has turned the road into a mud track.

The Nipa resort was really nice, the rooms were clean and spacious. There is two wings, the one we stayed in was the new section. I recommend the pool access rooms. I would stay here again.

The location is kinda outskirt, and it is the only hotel around that area, therefore can't feel the ambience of Patong beach as those near Bang-la road. But it is quiet and comfortable, friendly and caring staff, well-kept rooms, and nice decorated swimming pool are plus.
Whoever want to drive there, please take note, its entrance is opposite Patong hospital, you can't see its signboard along the road, but it is the only resort opposite Patong hospital, I suffered a little and wasted sometime in the wrong alleys (dead end road and can't have 3-point u-turn '@_@, thanks to the locals for their help)

We stayed in Nipa Resort for 7 days and we have been totally satisfied. The rooms are nearly new and in a great condition, everything is very clean. Breakfast has been changed to buffett, everything you need is available (eggs, fruits, vegetable, meat, rice, omelett, ham, spaghetti, local food, yoghurt etc). The hotel is a little bit away from the hotspots, but acceptable. Exactly 8 minutes to Bangla road and 13 minutes to the beach by walk. Taxi and TUK TUK are available and a hotel shuttle 2 times a day (10:00 and 17:00) and individual hotel shuttle for small money. Nipa Resort is the absolutely perfect choice especially for couples and single women travellers.
