I stayed in Mercure in november 2007....
I stayed in Mercure in november 2007. The hotel was very clean and new. The gym and pool area was also very clean and sociable. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, nightclubs and Patong central. The breakfast buffer had a great variety. The staff where extremely friendly and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the newly opened Mercure Patong, in Phuket, Thailand.
The service of all staff members were courteous and efficient. They were all so obliging and made to feel very welcome. Breakfast included in our reservation was more than adequate.
In fact, we are returning to Phuket in December 2007 for the coming festive season and will be staying there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Mercure, Patong. Our flight got in at 7.30am in the morning, resulting in us getting to Mercure before 9am. Didn't expect them to let us have such an early check in but they accomodated us anyway. Due to the bad weather over the course of our stay in Phuket, we spent a lot of time in the hotel itself. I am pleased to say that the hotel staff (from security to reception, waitresses to cleaning ladies) were always warm, friendly and helpful. No problems with language either as most of them spoke English. The spa was great, the restaurant food yummy. Due to the hotel being brand new, the room/ facilities etc were all spotless. Will definitely recommend Mercure to everyone =)

We had a good stay at Mercure Patong. We checked in on the first day of opening, and everything was well above expectations. Location of the hotel is good (10mins walk to Jungceylon shopping centre), and the room is spacious and clean (only disappointment is that the bed is hard like metal cos it's a new). Highly recommendation for couples or families. Good value for money!
