Unhappy camper
Rooms were nice and clean food was ok. Was over charged when I went to check out and because of the language barrier found it hard to explain to the people at reception. I was running late to catch a plane so didn't have the time to sort it out. Nice hotel just be weiry!!!

Very pleased
All round good motel. Very clean and staff always friendly. Very good facilities and close to markets, beach and a short walk to bangla rd. Will definately stay here again.

NOISY HOTEL
Main problem with this hotel was the relentless noise of the other guests at all times of the night. In addition to this the hallways echoed to amplify the noise , it was very difficult to get a good nights sleep. We were on the ground floor near the pool. There is no effort by the staff to monitor and request the guests to keep the noise down at night. We requested to move to a quieter level. We then moved to the 6th floor and it was abit quieter , but still the noise level at night was disturbing. I had to tell the chinese guests next door to keep the noise down myself on one occassion and they complied. Food was ok , and staff service ok but it could have been much better if the staff monitored the noise level at night and instructed guests to keep the noise down so everyone gets a good night sleep. On a positve note however the girl doing the housekeeping on our room at level 6 was very good and meticulous in the cleaning of our room.

it was one of our best decisions to stay at mecure as it had it all. 2 pools , happy hours, clean rooms n some very friendly staff.. although we chose this hotel for not being right in front of patong beach but we regretted it a bit. take this hotel to the beach and it will get all 6's :)

comfortable 3 star hotel
The location is about 15 mins walk to Patong Beach. The Hotel was comfortable but the internet was quite expensive. The Hotel has a large swimming pool. A nice touch was packed breakfast for our early departure.
A small matter: the key never worked so the times we had to make the long track along the long open corridor to the reception again and again was frustrating. It would have been helpful, if one of the staff notified the maintenance men to check on the actual lock but they didn't and our Thai was not good enough to ask them to do it. My other half suffers from vertigo so the long walk along the open corridor leading to the lifts, always make him break out in a cold sweat!

Paradise
Loved the hotel. Second time to stay there and will be back again. Only thing that needs attention are the pool bar seats as every stay someone has seriously cut themselves on them.

located at the southern corner of Patong...
located at the southern corner of Patong Beach, 5-10 min walk to the Beach, 15 min walk to the central mall, this is a standard, modern 4 stars. I wasn't charmed off my feet by it, but there is nothing to say against it.

Excellent holiday experience with Mercure! I arrived early...
Excellent holiday experience with Mercure! I arrived early at about 10.30AM, but they let me to check-in within 15mins or less! The room was spacious, clean and nicely design. However, the hotel is pretty far from the ONLY shopping mall in Patong beach area. I had to walk 10-15mins to Jungceylon. Alternatively a Tuk2 could take you there at THB150-200. One more thing, the hotel's pool was sooooo nice! They allowed me to have late check out till 2PM.
