Charming oasis
This is a great little Hotel! Set in beautiful gardens. Idyllic rooms! My sister and I stayed here and loved it. The breakfast is one of the best we have had. Staff r friendly and beds comfy!
I guess our only was that it's more of a hotel for older European couples and we were the only Australians!!! It's also up the other end to where we always wanted to be- but it's all just a walk away!
Would totally recommend! It's a beautiful hotel.

Quiet location in Patong Beach Phuket
We loved this hotel once we got there. Thai look and feel. The check-in was fast even if we arrived around 10 already.
Paid for a superior room and was given a family suite I think. The ladies didn't even explain the upgrade. Loft type with 2 single beds and 1 queen (upstairs). We had 2 lcd tv's 1 each in front of the bed, a living room., your own huge balcony, a walk in closet. 1 toilet neart the door, and a full toilet with a shower. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the room. The room was stuffy when we entered since the a/c was not turned on but no biggie. Once the a/c was running it was good though we noticed later on that the a/c duct leaks in certain areas (by the entrance hall and the bath). Reasonable price for massage services in the hotel. Got our room with breakfast included and it was quite tasty. Small selection but filling none the less. Great value for money.
There's an Italian place beside it which is quite nice. If you want to roam at night better to do it going beach side. Nothing to see if you go to the main street unless you walk 15 mins towards Jungceylon. Several massage/spa places nearby plus lots of 7-11 and pharmacies.
Downside: 1) The taxi driver didn't know exactly where it was. We were roaming around all over the place looking for it. I think he didn't know where the road was exactly. Better to print a map of the place with you. Good thing we got the meter taxi (500 BHT) 1 way. Arranged to take the same cab home for the same price. At least no need to explain where to fetch you.
2) English - not everyone spoke english. Simple request is ok. Was trying to ask if we need to make reservations to have massage and nails done and the girl we were speaking to looked bewildered.

My stay at the Phawadee was quite...
My stay at the Phawadee was quite enjoyable. The room was of adequate size and well arranged. The biggest issue I had is that on arrival I was given a room that faced the street and was *very* noisy. Also that side of the hotel faces in the direction of Soi Bang-la and that makes it quite noisy until at least 2:00am. On complaining and stating that I was *most unhappy* with the room I was given a different room in the interior of the hotel and that room was *very* satisfying. Also, management had no issue with TGFs arriving with me and had no problem with them joining me for the included breakfast. The location is ideal since it is about 5 mins walk to the beach, there are no hotels with beachfront property in Patong close to Soi Bang-la, and the walk to Soi Bang-la (nightlife) is about 10 mins, easily negotiable at 2:30am after a couple of six packs, and a TGF by your side. Unless I find something spectacular I will return to the Phawadee on my next trip to Patong Beach.

My only concern is I believed to...
My only concern is I believed to have an extra 3000 baht in my safe that was not there when I returned from a trip the hotel set up. I did not report this to management as there were these skull and bone sandles sitting in front of my unit placed in the bungalow when I returned from trip to Phi Phi Island. Yes, a woman who helped me access my room as I could not immediately find my key after the trip saw these sandles/flip flops as well. I found my key in another shorts pocket and immediately went to go and tell the management to cancel making another set., The sandles/flip were gone-in less than 5 minutes. This seriously concerned me and appeared to be some sort of threatening jesture. I even consider checking out as it was close to the end of my stay. Also, there was construction going on all day long. They moved me upon request after me being there 2 days as I couldn't take it-as my room was right above it. During one of the last days of the trip they actually worked all night long with flood lights set up so they could see. Just make sure you watch your stuff and call ahead to confirm the constuction is over. All in All it is a beautiful property for Patong Beach.

It was my third stay in this...
It was my third stay in this hidden paradise. Try to stay at a Pavillion room if your budget allows it. It comes with a jacuzzi, double sink, separate toilet, bathrobes, slippers, 4-posterbed, daily newspaper, coffee- and teafacilities and more. This type of room consists of a single bungalow with large terrace next to the swimming pool. Absolutely cool. The restaurants are very good both in quality and value. Free internet is also included for all guests. I've been visiting Phuket dozens of times since 1991 and this hotel is by far the best I ever stayed at.
