Excellent Hotel- Staff were very friendly and we had a great stay
Below what was expected of a five star hotel
We checked into our room 1522, Deluxe room at lake side wing. Room was not properly cleaned. The binds were so dusty, room had a very very strong stale and mouldy smell, to our horror, bedsheets had bloodstains. Called housekeeping to settle these issues but the room was still smelly. We endured the smell for one night but it was really unbearable. Early next morning, we insisted for a room change. First we were told that the hotel was running a full occupancy. After much insistance, the lady at the reception was then willing to change our room. The new room 1610 smelled fresher and was much cleaner.
The experience at The Millennium Resort was generally a good one. The service staff were polite and friendly, location was very good and nice swimming pool. Despte the episode of room 1522, our new room 1610 was nice and comfortable.
However we feel that it seems that the hotel has over rated themselves as a five star hotel.
First of all, when we request for a room change, we were not expecting a room upgrade, just changing to a cleaner room but they seemed so reluctant! They had insisted that they were running full house and expected us to understanding and continue to stay in the horrible room. I am suggesting that the front office manager should go and stay to the room to see how bad the smell is....
Secondly, the breakfast was nothing to shout about, the spread was simple and has not much choices.
I will not go back to this hotel anymore as there are much better choices to look at in Patong.

Nice Stay
Given staying 2 nights in Millennium Resort Patong is a nice experience.
Firstly upon check in staff was friendly and welcome drink was serve.

Location was fantastic with only a single door separating the hotel from a huge shopping mall (Jungceylon). Check-in was efficient. Wasn't too impressed with the cleaning of the rooms although the room was in good condition when we first checked in. Subsequently the cleaning of the room was not up to par with only basic cleaning done and that too in clearly visible areas. For example some trash that had spilt over the bin under the TV console was left there. Visibly feeble attempts to tidy up the room other than the basic making of beds and washing of the bathroom. Lakeside Wing is also quite a distance to walk to after 10 pm when shortcut access thru shopping mall is closed.

Fantastic hotel. Adjoining shopping centre and close to everything. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
great hotel in the middle of Patong Lakeside wing was the best of the two wings quiet and peaceful and not far to the hustle and bustle of Bangla rd and night life. A little bit pricey for Patong though there are heaps of other options available in this area with the same facilities and service for a lot less cost per room per night.
good and nice personal
This hotel is perfect if you really want to stay in Patong and be located next to a commercial center, actually I would not recommend Patong at all unless you have a special interest in being in a noisy and ugly place. Beach was full of plastic bags and rubbishes. It's a noisy place during the night so don't expect a peaceful and relaxing stay. Again it's not a glamorous place but the hotel is fine.
excellent stay
we have two teenage boys so we booked two rooms at a good price. We stayed at the Lakeside wing as this was recommended by other reviewers and it is quieter than the beach side. couldn't fault anything the accomodation was good and clean and the service was excellent, hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, lots of variety. Bonus if you love to shop as hotel is connected to huge shopping and eating complex. Beach is about 15 min walk. Would definately stay here again. Dining at the hotel restaurant and spa treatments were all fifty percent off but should have been advertised better as we didn't realise this until much later.
