doesnt look anything like the photos from the site. horrible room. the furnishings need maintenance. very woody smell in the room and the walls and the sofas were dirty. bed was creaking when we slept. not many variety of breakfast food and to add to that it wasnt nice at all. really disappointed with our stay there. a plus point for this hotel is that its near to the mini marts and massage is at the hotel's door step. less than a minute walk to the beach.
White sand 3 nights - This place is in the heart of it all but still is tucked nicely away from the hustle and bussle! Thai "masssssageeeee" at ur door step! Main patong beach 10m away! Roof top pool really nice overlooking the street and beach! Staff are always smiling and happy, and speak English well!! Breaky is good get in early for freshness! Room is nice bed comfy! would definitely stay again!! Highly rate this place and best of all and the main reason we all goo to thailand is it cheap!
Definitely not what you would expect from the photos posted. Very good location... 1 minute to Patong Beach... Near amenities and facilites Rooms a bit old with furnishings a little run down. Overall very clean and comfortable. Only major complain would be the lift which is very slow and had a foul smell. Breakfast is the normal fare but made up by very friendly staff. Overall... Recommended for singles to stay
During the stay, staff are all very friendly and helpful. They are very willing to help even when many requests are made. Hotel building may look a little wear down but rooms and swimming pool definitely better than the exterior. Rooms are okay but a little dim. Hotel location is good as the walk to the beach is about 2 mins and 10 mins to shopping centre. The hotel is value for money for budget travelers.
Yes is slightly outdated, although the place going through renovations, so the decor should be great during the next few years, as the rooms were starting to look old.
Room service and hotel staff were great and always happy to help. A good stay in all.
Only thing good about this place is the location. Just 5 mins from the beach. Everything else is a thumbs-down. Horrible service. Breakfast was crap. One of the nights, there was no water supply. when front desk was called, they claimed water was already up. Water only came up in the morning. Staff not friendly. Lift was stinky. But as the saying goes, you pay peanuts you get monkeys.
it was totally awesome,we had a great time at white sand resortel,staff are very accomodating,and the location is very near to all the things that we are looking for,i plan to be back in the future,more power to AsiaRooms.com
I stayed in this hotel for 4 days with my wife. We booked standard room trough AsiaRooms. When we arrived we were guided to the older hotel wing. There was no lift there but our room was in 1st floor so only 1 stairs up. Our room was super big with livingroom, small "kitchen", spacey bathroom and nice bedroom. During our stay everything went fine and we honestly don't have any complains about anything regarding to this hotel. Location was right next to beach too! Only small minus we give that in our room there were several mosquitos. Were too lazy to hunt them down but I guess they could have been easily killed. We would definately stay again in this hotel if we would visit Phuket again!
