Booked room 8 months in advance and was given very poor room IT was on 1st floor directl y nbehind swimming pool so anyone using this facility looked straight into our room also there was a walkway in front of our window which all the guests from the floors above us used resuling in no privacy at anytime unless we kept curtains closed which ia what i was told to do by receptionist Asked for a diferent room but was told non available.Stayed one night then found a far better hotel at a cheaper rate

The promised sea view was poor as...

The promised sea view was poor as most of the view from the balcony was overlooking a wall from another hotel. The balcony is very small and not much room to move around. I stayed on level 4 and there were no elevators, and also the steps leading up to the room were very narrow making it hard to carry luggage. You get charged 300Baht to bring a partner into the room regardless of already having booked a room for 2 persons beforehand. The room rate did not include breakfeast the next morning. Good luck trying to find someone who speaks OK English. You can find a room elsewhere in Patong Beach for nearly half the price for the same features and not get charged the excess fee for bringing another person into your room. They did not offer free wi-fi which is supposed to be common at most 3-5 star hotels. Be prepared to be harassed by salespeople at the entrance offering you taxis, tuk-tuks and tour packages. Think twice before booking this hotel. On the good side, they serve you with a basic cocktail on arrival and carry your luggage up the narrow stairs. 12pm checkout was also a bonus, which means you gain the extra sleep.

I booked the hotel on the strength...

I booked the hotel on the strength of the word "Swiss" and that word on Patong Swiss was a disgrace !I have been to Switzerland numerous times and this hotel leaves alot to be desired!Gosh!this hotel is already passed its prime and so run down.The bathroom was plastered with silicone fillers and wash basin was leaking .Floors was badly worn and drapes of balcony room was strunged by wires?Everything was badly run down except plus point for locality.T

We were thoroughly disgusted with this mess...

We were thoroughly disgusted with this mess of a hotel. While we were there , many people were coming to check in and then walking away once seeing the rooms which are absolutely terrible. Our breakfast was nothing other than appauling and hardly any choice. Please try to warn off anyone else from booking at this hotel until it is completely refurbished. We always use Asia Rooms and so do many of our friends , and this is the first time we have been dissapointed with any of the hotels we have stayed at. Sorry to be so critical but I can assure you beyond doubt our criticism is fully justified.

Room provided was at the top of...

Room provided was at the top of the hotel up a flight of narrow, winding stairs, dissapointment, room was small also. Service from table staff was poor however room service staff were friendly despite the arduous climb to the room. Location is good, on the sea front, but hawker taxi drivers and tour sharks, are a nuisance here and all along Patong front road.
