Palm Garden Resort, Phuket  

We loved Palm gardens - we stayed for a week and its very quiet- its an easy walk to Chalong pier where you can get boats or transport and around 8-11km out of main tourist areas such at Karon and Patong/Phuket - believe me its nice to go for a day then come back to the quiet here at night! Room was spacious with drying room, fully air con, outside balcony and hammock - most rooms overlook pool. Staff are very willing to help in any way have never had such good service anywhere before - they booked boat trips, day trips, fantasea, drivers - nothing was too much trouble. The food and drink at restaurant is nice and very well priced - cocktail happy hour (2 for 1) between 5-6pm was great! Pool is lovely with spa seat - its very deep one end and used for diving lessons sometimes. This resort is very small and friendly - you feel very at home here and the staff do everything to make you comfortable - if you want a quiet place to relax this is the one for you and you can still enjoy everything Phuket has to offer. Nearest beach is the pier area - 5 min walk away - you could swim here if you want but we caught longtail boat to nearby island for day (Coral island) and spent a day here snorkelling with tropical fish and coral.
