Pacific Club Resort, Phuket  

Well worth paying the extra price for this resort. They don't charge extra if you decide to bring an extra guest to the room after already making the booking. The seaview is pretty good. The location is a little hard to get to from the beach at Karon, especially if you have never visited the area before. The rooms are very luxurious and the bed was comfortable. The service was excellent and they provide free internet downstairs near the lobby. Breakfeast was not included, which is surprising considering the price paid for the room. I was charged 350baht extra for a guaranteed sea view which I thought was a bit unfair but it paid off in the end. I had dinner at the restaurant downstairs and it was superb quality and OK prices. The resort was in a location where there were no signs of any annoying salespeople, which was an added bonus. A basic cocktail was served on arrival which was a welcome delight. Overall, 4/5 rating.
