We were left waiting in airport as...
We were left waiting in airport as they have forgotten to send taxi. so we had to pay for one. Our room had no safety deposit box, no washing machine, no iron (reception has none to lend but we have to pay to get anything ironed), no crockery, no utensils - not a functional kitchen. Pretty much all that is suppose to be provided is not provided. Facilities - Pool turned 'green' twice during our stay. So we couldn't swim at all as they had to clean it. Gym super small only 3 machines in it. Spa - no such thing! Cafe - small portion & not nice. Location is misleading. You cannot walk anywhere. Bcoz its in the middle of nowhere with views of the jungle. You need your own transport. The shuttle is just as hopeless. We were left waiting for an hour for shuttle that never came & end up paying for a taxi instead!! Unless you are on a budget this place is perfect! But don't expect hotel facilities or self catering facilities. Its just an empty shell that you might as well rent out a room from some Thai family in the village!
