Excellent value
This is a lovely centrally located hotel in Phuket (Shopping, massage palors, bars, beach...etc). The owner and his wife are a friendly and service oriented couple. The owner is also a RED Seal Chef and makes delightful breakfast's and dinners (must try). Has been the personal chef of such stars as Kim Bassinger, Al Pacino, Rod Stewart and so on...The room is very clean, simple but elegant. This hotel has many perks such as cheap laundry services, travel bookings center(cheaper than booking on-line!)and wonderful staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived half an hour early and...
We arrived half an hour early and received a very poor welcome. The Thai staff on reception just looked at us and said 'you are too early', no smile, no welcome, no information. We came back later and the owner who is Italian was present and was much nicer and helpful. The hotel itself has no lobby, was in the process of being renovated and there were other buildings nearby being renovated also, as such it was noisy at certain times of the day. Facilities are minimal although it is well located only a few minutes walk from the beach and Bangla road. There is no lift and the stairs are spiralling and awkward...not ideal after a night out or for elderly people and just plain annoying if you are on the upper floors! I feel there are better hotels for the same price, it didn't take much looking to find them when I was there, however the rooms at Casa Jip are clean and would suffice if you want to book ahead.

Casa jip provided us with a clean...
Casa jip provided us with a clean and large room. This is a no frills hotel but it provides a good place to rest amongst the turmoil of Phuket. I would defiantly stay here again and would recommend it to all travelers.

Stayed for 4 nights. Situated in a...
Stayed for 4 nights. Situated in a quiet Soi. Just cross the road is Christine massage. Hotel owner is friendly and owns 2 dogs.. Narak!! Reception is helpful. GH within walking distance from patong beach and bangla road. Location wise value for money. Would recommend for those on a budget and wants entertainment nearby.

At first, I thought I will have...
At first, I thought I will have a standard room with nothing to expect. But when I arrived, Casa Jip really fulfilling my dream. They have a super nice budget room, clean (always all the time), no bad smell, good air conditioner, clean bathroom, and of course secured place. The owner (they are a italian and thailand) are so nice, excellent English, giving me the right yet effective hints of travelling. I love Casa Jip of all because it is affordable for my budget. :)

This place is right by Patong Beach...
This place is right by Patong Beach which was great. The room was nice except for the fact that it had an obvious stain on the ceiling from an old overflowed toilet of an above room. Where that stain was there was mold growing. The service was not very good. Overall I just wanted to stay to sleep and then go out as much as possible in that area.
