Decent Resort but old.
Pros:
(1) Relatively cheap in comparison to other resorts at Bangtao
(2) Next to the "best" (in my opinion) beach in Phuket
(3) Bangtao beach has a myriad of beach side cafes with very good and affordable food
(4) 10 minutes walk to Surin Beach which is another beautiful beach
(5) The resort has a dart board next to the pool which was quite fun
Cons:
(1) Bad service, staff were rude and very unprofessional
(2) There were at lease 2 dozen very hungry mosquitoes in our room. Woke up with bites all over our legs and faces. We eventually killed all of them by the 2nd night
(3) The pillow cases and bed sheets had stains on them
(4) Pool is very small.

Close to beach
The resort was ok but way too far from patong and phuket city, only trasportation is taxi or tuk tuk.. We were there in low season so nothing happening in the surrounding area. had to taxi to patong for some fun.
The Kris resort provides excellent staff who are friendly, efficient and ever ready at the reception desk. The rooms are of a high standard and room service was efficient. The hotel is about 35 minutes from Patong Beach so it is out of the hustle and bustle and has an excellent restaurant on site and Blue Siam another excellent eatery across the road. I would recommend the hotel to anyone staying on Phuket
NIce place to stay as it was not close to the loudness of the night life.
Check out time not flexible. Have to check out 12 pm in time.
The Kris Resort have to learn from other hotels, can extend the check out time to 2pm. If unless the resort is fully booked.
The Hotel is good and clean with a good location at the Bang Thao Beach!
We stayed there last year already and were happy again.
The only thing, what is disappointing, is, that they newly charge you for WIFI!

Nice very clean and quiet little hotel....
Nice very clean and quiet little hotel. Good size room and bathroom as well as balcony.
2 little critics: First, the map on the Asiarooms.com website misleads you into believing it is adjacent to the laguna complex but it is in fact more than 4 kilometers by road. Second, breakfast should be included in my opinion, as it is in most other hotels. They wanted 280 bahts per person which is very expensive.
It is not on the beach but...
It is not on the beach but just off and central to everything. Our room did have a view of the beach. staff was very helpful.. big room, all the amenities.
