Awesome.
Very nice and quite place. Clean and spacious room. Destination very close to patong beach, around 10mins walk, and 15mins walk to bangla road for night activities.

average hotel with the advantage of being new. yet comfort is limited. if you need just a bed to sleep it will be fine, but then you get lots of other places in phuket for less money as well.

spent the 3 days we stayed with cold water,asked them to fix it but no one ever did,at one stage both of the lifts where not working and we were on the 7th floor,so was a bit of a climb this lasted a day the rest of the time it was just 1.service was ok however it was listed as a 4 star and on arrival we were told it was only a 3.

As I was travelling on behalf of a voluntary org.,budget was paramount a great special attracted me to the Kris.It is an old buildig that has had a makeover,the lifts are atrocious,the shower water non existant and service desk help is a joke, I had to keep reminding myself of the very cheap rate,if I had paid the normal I would have left immediately after I had arrived.

As per previous reviews before I went for the trip, the lift is old and will jammed at times. Its located away from the beach and night life, but Patong beach itself isn't that big a place, so everything is in walking distance. If you want a sea view, this hotel is not the ideal one. Apparently, only those at the highest floor(9th) gets a bit of the sea view and is usually reserved for tour groups. Facilities wise, its nothing much. The service and cleanliness is good for a budget hotel. Overall, the stay was pleasant and nice without too much fuss.

Hotel is brand new and we got the room with huge discount. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Only thing not working well was the elevator, it was probably the slowest in Thailand. The hotel located 15 min walk from the beach and few blocks away from the noisy bar streets.
