Very family friendly..
We got the room through Asia Rooms at a very very cheap rate. We booked the Suite which was perfect as our little one stayed in the very spacious living area which can accomodate upto two kids.
Pros:
a) Room was big and spacious.
b) the kids pool and slide was the highlight of our trip, excellent. Better than anywhere else we have been.
c) the kids club and baby sitting was very good, safe and child friendly. There is always plenty for the kids to do, although for us the slide and the Disney channel was sufficient.
d) the breakfast is the best ever.
e) the staff (other than front desk) were great.
Cons:
a) Front desk is lazy. They did not help us change our flight, and when we requested, even did not get us the number for the airways.
b) the food at Momo cafe is strictly ok. Our daughter loved the fish and chips,but that was about it. although there are other options close by, but Surin is a relatively expensive area.
c) we requested for a room change (since we had requested for one close to the pool, owing to my wife's pregnancy) thrice. only the third time we were told there were not enough available rooms.
d) the last night the card stopped working. my husband had to walk the long walk to the front desk who did come themselves. only the third time and after raising our voices did some one come only to discover that the door batteries had died. we ended up spending an hour stranded on the corridors.
Front desk issues aside, this is a very family friendly hotel. the Momo cafe, housekeeping and the kids club cafe was really good. Excellent and we might just stay here again!
