Very nice hotel with friendly staff
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The only one disappointment is bed bugs...
All the linen and towels are very old, could use a refresh
pleasant stay
i found the lamia hotel very clean and comfortable for a budget hotel the staff were polite and friendly and very helpful and i would stay there again next time i go to phuket.
hotel room was a bonus with large screen tv, dvd player , and computer although had some issues getting computer to work very well probably intertnet conection. room was large also helped as two of us stayed there , found staff pleasant but overly accomadating ..did not eat at hotel resturant as found plenty of places close by and wanted to get out an about ..

well earned rest
great hotel friendly staff and helpful . really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and was not far to night life and big shopping center . loved the big lcd tv in room and in wifi in room . Will coming again next year would be nice to get a discount if i book with you again Thank you really enjoyed my stay no problems what so ever
Great value room with excellent location
I was impressed from the very start with this hotel! Their rate of 700bht per night with the inclusion of King sized bed, 42in LCD TV (with over 80 channels), an in-room computer computer with printer (with highspeed broadband connection) and a perfect location (for me at least) seemed too good to be true.
But alas, it was all that and more! Communication from the hotel was good even before I arrived, as I requested a taxi pickup through them and they were great in organising that. When arriving the staff seemed a bit unfriendly, but that very quickly warmed, and every request or interaction I had with them was done with great warmth.
With effort to giving you a even review, I must talk to some negatives (although only minor in my mind). Because of its location you do get some street noise, which can be quite loud if a motorcycle or drunk people happens to be right out the front. Also, in the lane beside the hotel, there is a caged parrot who talks all day from an early hour. I am sensitive to noise, but I didn't request a room change as it really didn't affect me that much. I was also assured by reception that next time, all I need to do is request a room at the back of the hotel, which is much quieter. Lastly, there is no pool, but the beach is like 5 mins walk away.
All in all, I would stay at the hotel again in a heartbeat. There is simply no other choice, as I think this is a 4 star hotel with a 2 star price, which is exactly what I was after. If you are after a comfortable room, with great in room features as a great launchpad to your phuket holiday, then you have no other option either!

room as a big 42inch tv with dvd player and a computer and printer in the room.
the bed was big but has minor itches when i woke up. guess there were bed bugs.
would recommend for budget traveler.
