So quiet on weekday
Privatecy, good beach but too quiet on weekday.
to big hotel
the hotel and the beach was empty. but in the high travel time i mean it is not possible to have a good holiday.
Ideal hotel for a family get together...
Ideal hotel for a family get together holiday. Excellent dining room service Friendly staff. We had a rental car so could explore the area. Right on the beach. Perfect for what we were looking for

The staff is nice, helping and of good will.
The hotel looks old. Everything is old fashioned and definitely needs new decor, refurbishment and painting as a minimum: lobby, corridors, staircases, bedrooms and bathrooms.
Because of low season and bad weather we were apparently the only customers in the hotel when we arrived. In our bathroom hot water was not working!! Bad luck.
The restaurant condition is a pity for a hotel of that category.
Cleanliness is questionable, you can see garbage bins storage from the bedrooms corridor as a nice decor.
The beach is not very interesting, with rocks and dirty sand. But the swimming pool looks ok (I did not use it because of unfortunate weather conditions).
The only restaurant provides very basic food of low quality for the price claimed. You go there once but you never come back.

resort is a little bit old about 30 years old seem like nothing change to much since started , beach is almost good if without rock and rubbish, poor breakfast, there is only one restaurant , nothing around this resort, no way to do in night time.
swimming pool is big and clean , anyway we were enjoy staying there .
Palmerie beach is nice, but its location...
Palmerie beach is nice, but its location is just far away apprx 20 km from the pier to Koh Samet & seems to be an old place. You may also need a car to explore things close by, like goto have seafood by the beach. Hotel has a very large pool & a quite restaurant next to. It locates also in one end of the beach so another side will be some lime stones & very quite. Maybe good for romantic couples & families to break off for few days, but we prefer some more actions so it will be another place for us next time.
Stayed 2 nights at the Palmeraie Beach...
Stayed 2 nights at the Palmeraie Beach Resort which is a few miles east of Rayong. Nice place on a lovely sandy, quiet beach and just as advertised. Had a very pleasant stay. Pool is lovely. Only point we noted was that restaurant menu was a little limited. We drove to the Novotel a few miles towards Rayong for second night's dinner.
