Laemya Inn - Thank You!
Simple, large room, no frills, but with all the necessities you could possibly need. The room was clean, and the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful with all queries.
Breakfast options were limited and sometimes unavailable, but whatever they had on hand was always delicious.
The inn sits right beside the provincial park (a couple of minutes away on foot), close to the aquarium, next to the beach, and a short cab ride out of Ban Phe (the gateway to Koh Samet). The great location contributes to make this a great little getaway spot.

A friendly hotel in the middle of no-where (and not yet registered with Sat-Nav) by Europeans. I arrived with an extra 2 of my wife’s nieces about 12 years old, and the hotel supplied mattresses and pillows at 200bt for each child and were very accommodating. But be wary of their Thai partner, as he would charge for breathing given the chance.

Friendly foreign managed hotel. Great value and well worth staying if you have own transport. It is bit of distance from Ban Phe if you are going to Koh Samet.
The only down part is that there are no taxis anywhere in the near by area and no motorbikes to rent. Htl can arrange a car if you book ahead. We hitch hiked on pick up trucks to get to Ban Phe. Getting in from from Ban Phe is easy and plenty of transport. Best to get your own wheels.
