We had an enjoyable stay at Novotel Centara, Hatyai. The room (we booked a superior) was big and clean. Hotel is also conveniently located, with shopping centres and restaurants all within walking distance. We also enjoyed the food stalls outside the hotel in the evening - a good way to have snacks after a dinner. Breakfast in hotel however was very average, as we had the same breakfast spread every day for 3 days. Not much of a variety. Overall, a good stay.
Cheaper price through asiaroom than walk through.Check in and out need to improve their smiley face.The rooms are clean and wonderful.It's in the central of Hatyai near to all shopping,24hrs food/shops,massage and right in front of Konsortium bus (travellers from Singapore,Jb,KL and Ipoh)
Strategic location for shopping but nothing much to buy as you can find most of the items are available from Malaysia's night market. Hotel is considered new but bit pricy compared to the room type and condition. Basically, pretty basic setup and not a Superior Deluxe setup. Suggest only get a Standard Rooom will do. Limited english channel on the TV, mostly Thai channel. Hotel crew can speak english and helpful.
room is good. best location. have many t.v. channels but out of 71 channels only 5 english channels. even national geograhic channel is dubbed to thai. very disappointed. overall stay ok.
My first impression of the hotel was very good. The property has an impressive lobby and good clean rooms. Even though the hotel looks a little run down, I cannot complain because we had two rooms at a very reasonable price. The hotel failed badly in terms of service and attention to detail. Staff spoke very little English and while some tried their best to help despite the language barrier, this was overshadowed by many others who were extremely unhelpful/uninterested. Our room tariff included breakfast but on hindsight I should have paid more for a better room without breakfast. The buffet offered was of poor quality: Food was dried out and no effort was made to replenish buffet trays. I hesitate to recommend this hotel. Pick it only if you are interested in a place to sleep.
