After a mix-up of our last name...
After a mix-up of our last name with another customer's last name our room (family suite) was given to another family. The hotel worked hard to accomodate us with 2 rooms so there would be enough space for us. They were very apologetic about the mix-up. In general the hotel staff was very helpful with directions, getting us to the bike rental shop (they covered the rental fee to help make up for their previous mistake), etc. The location is excellent for exploring the old city. The hotel grounds and pool are lovely, the food at the hotel was delicious and we would definitely stay here again.

What can I say? This was...
What can I say? This was quite possibly the most amazing resort I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Everything went right. The location was amazing! Minutes walk from the ancient town of Sukhothai. And since the hotel can rent you a bike for 50 baht ($1.50) for 24 hours, what can I say? They even gave me a half day tour of the ruins, by a very experienced private guide for 600 baht ($18), this included the bike, lunch, the tour, and all the entrance fees. The rooms, beyond splendid. HUGE bed, wonderful teak surroundings. Just amazing. The entire hotel was just beautiful, spotlessly clean, and peaceful. The service, to die for. The woman at the front desk, Lucy, is just simply the most amazing hostess! She is always willing to help, and she is so nice! The only complaint I have is that the bathrooms are outside the room, but for the price I paid (so so low) this wasn't too much of a problem. Jeremy P.S. I think the above ratings say it all. The place was quite pleasant,is conveniently located near Sukhotai historical part, the Thai food was very good but the western breakfast was lacking : eggs served rather cold, same pieces of bacon and ham one finds everywhere and Lipton tea!!! the coffee was more akin to sock juice. Rice soup would have been a better choice. Service was friendly and efficient. A nice place to stay on a visit to Sukhotai.

The best place in old Sukhothai is...
The best place in old Sukhothai is Tharaburi Resort. Within walking distance to the Historical Parc, next to a nice and romantic restaurant (Sinvana). Staff very friendly and helpful, decorations mostly in japanese style, however some guests would prefer normal beds... A place to set as number one on a itinerary!

We liked very much our stay at...
We liked very much our stay at Tharaburi Resort. It is located in a wonderful and quiet place. It is a little far from Sukhothai center but next to Sukhothai historical park. You can rent a bike there and also enjoy other services like internet access and restaurant inside. Our room was small and the toilet was out however our stay was very confortable, very good relation quality/price. Finally the service was very useful offering us every moment all that we needed. No doubt that we will repeat the stay in Tharaburi resort!

I a reservation for 2 nights. The...
I a reservation for 2 nights. The situation is very very quiet, and safe. The first night i sleep in one of the two parts of the hotel : the wooden part. No bathroom in the room ( but 4 big batrooms outside very short, and clean) if you will sleep , better that there are not a young couple in the room next of your room ; you can participate on the night activity. The next day i ask to change for the second part of the hotel : mor executive. Very nice and superb rooms with (stupid) jacussi. For this change i pay 1500 baht more (3200 baht in total), and when i ask to use internet i need to pay 150 baht more (not fair) Conclusion : a nice place but not a nice price

Our family absolutely loved this resort! ...
Our family absolutely loved this resort! The staff is very friendly and accomodating of a family with three small children. We stayed here on our way up to Chiang Mai and liked it so much that we booked another room for our return trip! The hotel is very close to historic Shukhotai, and a night Saturday night market. Breakfast is yummy and all other meals fantastic! No complaints what so ever!

Very pleasant and relaxing stay. Great location regarding access to local historical sites. Hotel staff is most cooperative and helpful. I will definitely stay here again if back in Sukhothai!

The location of the hotel is perfect....
The location of the hotel is perfect. This hotel is lovely, well designed, the staff are kind. The only weakness is the food served for dinner. Maybe need to improve a little bit. I will give a mark of 4.5 out of 5. Strongly advise travelers to go and stay there.
