Perfect hotel for romantics, great "al fresco" bathroom, close to the old town temple complex. Hard not to stay in the hotel all day.

This is more of a guest house...
This is more of a guest house than a hotel, and I was initially a bit disappointed in myself for not checking that the bathrooms are share arrangements (unless you get a suite). However the service and location were fantastic. It's like staying in a wonderful Thai house - very noce decor and surroundings and a lovely garden to have a quiet beer or two in. It's a small place and the owner does everything himself, including serve breakfast. The swimming pool looked fantastic but unfortunately I was too tired too use it after cycling around the old city (free bike provided by this hotel). Sensational value for money - $A33 per night. If you don't like cold showers, don't use the bathroom on the end - the water isn't heated in that one but it is in the others.

I had a wonderful stay at Tharaburi....
I had a wonderful stay at Tharaburi. The room was beautiful. The outdoor bathroom was also very nice, although at night you might find a little lizard on the wall, keeping you company...Staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful and food in the small restaurant was good and cheap. If you're planing to stay in Sukhotai you won't regret staying here for sure!

the hotel is very clean and neat....
the hotel is very clean and neat. though i think expensive for the toilets and showers to be out of the room. you can probably get such accommodations for less. it was convenient to the old sukhothai and all the sights but you definitely need a bicycle to get there. or you can have the hotel call a taxi or a tuk tuk. the hotel has bicycles brought in from the bicycle lenders who would charge you 10 baht if you rented it directly from them at the historical sites. but they now have delivered it to the hotel so now the hotel charges you 50 baht per day. having a bicycle allowed one to go out to the town and see what the locals do and eat. or you can stay at the hotel and see only what tourists eat and do. it is too long a walk from the hotel to the historical site though possible if you like to walk in the heat and sun.

Hi There, This hotel without any doubts a very beautiful hotel. the staffs were most accomodating,helpful,friendly and very polite. The layout and the landscape and none the lest the location is absolutely superb. I would without any doubts highly recomended this property. a great place to unwind. The pool was in process of being completeted and when it finished it would make this place a must place to stay. I had the deluxe room Japanese style interior just awesome!!!!!! I really enjoyed my stay immensley. I thank you all the staffs at this hotel for their kind and very friendly hospitality. Daniel Fraser Sydney Australia.

Schönes, rustikales Hotel. Leider haben die normalen...
Schönes, rustikales Hotel. Leider haben die normalen Zimmer keine eigenen Bäder. Die Lage ist sehr günstig um den historischen Park zu besuchen ( ein Rad sollte man sich leihen - ohne Probleme im Hotel möglich ).

Very comfortable and friendly service and quiet! Easy location, you can even walk to historic park as I did. (^^) Foods in the hotel is recommended, worth for money.

A very charming hotel right next to...
A very charming hotel right next to the historical park.Rooms are very nice but not big enough to be used as triple and bathrooms are outside the rooms but the hotel is not so busy so this was not a problem.The suite is wonderful for couples!!! This is a peaceful place to relax in a real thai atmosphere,especially if you're coming from Bangkok! Good food. I would definitely reccomend this hotel.

The place is wonderfully located in the neighborhoods of the historical park. The attention is careful and they have a very good breakfast. The only problem in our case was that the conditioned air was not able to cool the room and we suffered suffocating heat.
