This hotel is really impressive. The public areas are spacious and exceptionally tasteful giving a feeling for the best in traditional Thai architecture, though I do not pretend to be an expert. The large pool is clean and inviting. We have found a very high level of service in the hotels we have visited, but the service here is very good even by the high standards we have met with. Since the hotel is some way from town we eat in the restaurant on all four evenings and much enjoyed the food. Try the traditional dishes! It is however essential to have your own means of transport, since a one way trip ro or from Sukhothai will cost around 600 Baht and the 30 Kilometers need 20 to 30 minutes. If you are mobile, this hotel provides a unique experience.

We arrived late and had a very...
We arrived late and had a very heartly welcome by the hotel staff - in fact we were received as if we were members of a royal house. The hotel itself is located in a quite remote area but we had our own rental car and so this was no problem whatsoever. As we were unable to find the hotel in the POIs of our Garmin GPS Navigator we contacted the hotel by telephone and were told that it was situated very close to the Sukothai Airport. With this information at our hands we easily found the hotel as Sukothai airport was in fact one of the POIs saved in our navigator. All in all we can recommend this hotel to anyone who does not mind to stay in a rather remote area as the hotel itself is very beautiful and staff are very helpful und friendly.

My husbnad and I with our 5...
My husbnad and I with our 5 years old girl spend a day here, and we all enjoy the stay here very much. The room is spacious and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is nice too. The only disadventage is the loction is far from the town or any shops. Any there's any chance to visit Sukhthai, we will definitely stay here again!!!

- perfect, but a bit distant from sukhothai. - rooms small but excellent. - restaurant limited choice. but: best style, best service overall compared to all hotels i have been in Thailand.

best hotel on our journey. only two...
best hotel on our journey. only two things, which made us score the hotel with sometimes 4 instead of 5 marks: - location is quite far from Sukhothai, so a transfer every morning would take long. Advantage is, that it is close to Sri Sachanalai and Sukhothai Airport. - Restaurant is very limited and this in addition to the remote loction is negative. Food is very western and quite high priced for Thailand. - rooms are very nice furnished, but maybe in bit small (deluxe) - employees are well trained and very friendly. The architecture and the buildings create a nice atmosphere, nobody should miss, when in Sukhothai. - as hotel is brand new, I can only recommend this hotel as the best 4 star hotel in Thailand I have been.

The hotel is not easy to find...
The hotel is not easy to find by road but is five minutes from the airport. There is no noise problem as there are few flights. The hotel is spacious, stylish and well laid out, in a pleasant country setting . The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was good but the options would be limiting after more than four days. If the reason for staying at the Sukhothai Heritage Resort is to vist Sukhothai and Si Satchanalai historical parks you will either have to be part of a group or be able to arrange road transport as the historical parks are at least 20ks away. All-in-all a very rewarding and enjoyable stay.

It's a very new hotel. Staff very polite. A very good place for relaxing and sightseeing. It's just between Si Sachanalai and Sukothai, from both about 30 km away. Only golfplayer will not be very happy with the little courses around. We will come back - sure!!
