We had a lovely stay at this resort hotel. The staff were welcoming, very friendly, and readily accommodating. Our riverview room was perfectly fine, with a good view of the Mekhong. It was slightly small but quite comfortable; the same could be said of the bathroom. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained - lots of tropical trees and plants. If you're without your own transportation, as we were, the rates for traveling around to visit attractions in the nearby national park are a bit high, as is the cost of traveling from and to Ubon Ratchathani in order to reach the hotel. The hotel restaurant is open-air and quite pleasant, with well-prepared Thai dishes (we didn't try any of the others), and the waiters are very friendly. But again, the food is a bit on the expensive side, and there's no other place to eat in the area. As a romantic getaway, though, it's a wonderful spot to stay and just get away from it all. We'd definitely do it again.
