Could do better
Ok this is going to be a fairly negative review but it all comes under teething problems/ room for improvement none of the issues i encountered could not be solved pretty fast
so
1) Arriving at the room there was a partially used bar of soap in the shower cubicle
2) Being on the 4th floor i was happy but the double balcony doors were not very secure i could have opened them with a bent knife !!!!!!!!
3) i know this is nit picking but having satellite tv in your room with over 100 channels to troll through it would be nice to have a list of channels and what languages they are in
4) there was also a notice in the room about using the safe in the room which had not been fitted at the time of stay
5) Bit of a design flaw here which is replicated on some rooms only but having a large compressor unit on the balcony for the air con and having only single glazed doors to the balcony made the room sound like your in the engine room of a ship if your trying to sleep with the air con running no problem for me but it may be a problem for other people
6) The pool yes its nice and cold because of its shaded location but they had overdid it with lots of chemicals need to sort out the dosing of the pool chemicals
7) Breakfast what can i say putting instant coffee in a coffee jug doesnt make it taste any better
i love coffee and skimping on a coffee filter machine especially when Thailand is currently discovering the joys of good coffee is a bit of a mistake
as i said at the top of the review all these can be solved pretty fast
a problem they have is the room rate is a bit high compared with a certain hotel 100m away which is cheaper and it better overall experience

bathroom?
The room was clean, staff friendly and I thought breakfast was pretty good with made to order pancakes and omlettes. The breakfast staff was especially friendly and helpful. However, the toilet was placed in such a small place that one could not effectively use it! I have no idea who they were thinking could use a toilet with 4 inches of "leg room". I am only 150 pounds and somewhat atheletic and it was very difficult for me to get to it.
The main reason I did not give the hotel a higher rating was the shower was also unusable. The water temperature would make wide fluctuations that would freeze of scald you in seconds. There is no way a child could use the shower and it would take me three times longer to shower because it was not usable as well. I actually changed hotels because of the unusable shower.
Finally, the atmosphere is rather sterile. The hotel has yet to develop any personality other than ceramic tile and repetitious mimicry musak.
On the positive, it is quiet and in a good place near UD town and the new mall.

Nice hotel but still in construction stage
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel was centrally located, the room was small but very clean, but since the hotel is still in the construction stage it's hard to give it a great review. This was written in Oct 2011, so hopefully things will have smoothed out in the future. Free wifi was slow but ok. I also had a few problems with the hot water, having to run the water a long time. Still, it's a clean friendly place and there's not a whole lot to choose from in Udon Thani
Nice new rooms...
Hotel well located downtown, clean and clear, the edge of the swimming pool, air conditioning and a little noisy hallways, and big drawback , no aeration (ventilation) in the bathroom, and over the air not renewed in the room .. no in-room safe.
Decent breakfast, a little cold dishes.
