Avatar was a bit tricky to find....
Avatar was a bit tricky to find. The road was not too great. We stayed in one of the bungalows. First we thought "wicked. This is awesome. We're so close to the nature." There were plenty of trees at the Avatar and we were surrounded by mountains. Great views indeed!
We stayed there for a night. When I woke up I saw loads of spots on my legs and arms. Yes, I was bitten by mosquitoes and other insects during the night. Well but I guess that was probably "normal" as we were out in the bush. Out friends stayed in the main building which was more like a "real" hotel room. While everything worked pretty well in our room our friends had to take a cold shower as the water heater was out of function.
There's a restuarant at the Avatar but we thought it was not really worth it. The food taste great but was expensive. I was still hungry after each meal.
There are two pools at the hotel but it was a bit too cold to swim so we didn't swim.
I don't think I'll stay there again. I don't want to get bitten by the insects. Also, there are other hotels and resorts that are closer to the town and stuff.
I'm still wondering what happened there. I still don't quite get the hotel's concept and all that. Didn't really understand what we did there.
