The tavern is renowned for its reptiles and every week in the tavern various reptile shows are held for the entertainment of the visitors. During the annual festival, which is held in the month December, Bearded Dragon showcases some amazing animal shows and other attractions. A crocodile and Reptile Show and exhibition are also held and you can also buy memento of the festival from the souvenir shops. The money earned from the festival is used for charitable purposes; the proceeds of the festival go to the Tamborine Mountain Landcare, Rural Firebrigades and wildlife care funds.

Besides these attractions, the festival also features live entertainment shows and musical shows. In order to enjoy the festival, you do not have to pay admission charges as entry to the festival is free.
