Wellington Point Brisbane is one of the bayside suburbs in the Redlands region. Situated on the tip of a peninsula, the village of Wellington Point in Brisbane is known for its adventure water sports. Name any sports to do with water and Brisbane's Wellington Point is sure to have it!
HOW TO REACH WELLINGTON POINT:
Wellington Point is a little more than 20 km from the city center, Brisbane. Cross Story Bridge, take the Wynnum Manly Roads and when you reach there take the Manly Road exit and follow it to the Main road. Next, take a left turn to reach Wellington Point.

Have all the fun in water you want in Wellington Point! Whether you want to fish or to boat, or are in the mood for more, Wellington offers you a chance to jetski, windsurf. The latest addition is the spectacular sport of kitesurfing. In peak times you can get windsurfing equipment on hire here.
THINGS TO SEE IN WELLINGTON POINT :
• Wellington Point Reserve - A prime picnic spot, you can enjoy a picnic here while enjoying views of Moreton Bay and the islands beyond. Gaze in awe at the huge Moreton Bay fig trees lining the esplanade and picnic using the extensive picnicking facilities available here.
• Ormiston House :This colonial style house on Wellington Street has spacious lawns overlooking the Moreton Bay.You can tour the House and sip Devonshire tea on Sundays 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.
• Wellington Point Conservation Wetland : This is one of the wetlands of this region that is rich in conservation areas and wetlands. Glimpse turtles and friendly dolphins in the surrounding waters and mangroves.
• King Island : Walk over the narrow sand bar at low tide to this tiny island 1 km from Wellington Point and visit the King Island Conservation Park which has extensive mangrove and dune vegetation. This tiny island is part of the Moreton Bay Ramsar site that has been recognized as a wetland of international significance.
