The Cairns Civic Theatre is owned and operated by the Cairns City Council, and it has been presenting some of the best arts and entertainment available in Australia. The Cairns Civic Theatre was established in 1974 and it presents more than hundred shows each year which ranges from local amateur shows to national and international touring extravaganzas. Be it comedy dance, drama, circus or another form of live entertainment Cairns Civic Theatre offers something for everyone’s choice. Cairns Civic Theatre has got three entrances on the Florence, Sheridan and Grafton streets and it provides ample parking space in close proximity. The office hours of Cairns Civic Theatre stretches from 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday and it is also open from9.00am - 12.00pm on every Saturday. The Cairns Civic Theatre provides facility for both cash payment and credit card facilities.
