Australian War Memorial Canberra
The Australian War Memorial, Canberra was established to pay due respect to all those members of the Australian Armed Forces and also the supporting organizations who had given up their lives in the wars of the Commonwealth of Australia. There is also an extensive military museum.

This Memorial is the northern bus terminus. It stretches from the Parliament House on the Capital Hill to Mount Ainslie to the north east. There is no connecting road way as such but one can see the Australian War Memorial, Canberra from the balcony in front of the Parliament.

- Remembrance Driveway- It is a system of the arboreal parks, road side stops and landmarks between Canberra and Sydney. This is to commemorate the twenty four persons who had received the Victoria Cross in the World War II and the Vietnam War.
- The Anzac Day Parade- it is a broad yet short boulevard named to pay respect to the army corps of the Australian and the New Zealand military forces. On either side of the Parade there are numerous monuments that commemorate the various military campaigns. The styles of these monuments are so varied that they also give a scope to see the different kinds of architecture.
