The National Gallery of Australia is a massive structure, cubical in form with numerous edges and corners. It was started in 1974 and inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth II in October in 1982. There is a sculpture garden that signifies the four seasons and there are 11 galleries on three different levels.

The hours: the gallery opens from 10 am to 5 pm from Monday to Sunday. But it remains closed on Christmas Day that is the 25th December.
There is no entry fee but if there are any major exhibitions then there might be admission charges.
