The Gold Creek Golf and Country Club is located very close to the Canberra city centre on the Barton Highway, right next to two of Canberra's very famous sightseeing sights Cockington Green and Federation Square.The Gold Creek Golf and Country Club in Canberra was designed by the renowned golfer and course architect Bruce Devlin. The golf club celebrated its inauguration with the Australian Seniors PGA Championship in autumn in 1996. Despite its status as a new entrant the golf course has earned rave reviews. In fact the winner of the Senior PGA championship 96, golfing legend Lee Trevino had only good things to say about the golf course.
Within the ten years of its inception the Gold Creek Golf and Country Club has moved from strength to strength. Its 18 hole international standard championship course has matured into on of the best golf courses in Canberra. The golf club boasts of a very picturesque driving course with 3 championship practice holes. The Gold Creek Golf and Country Club in Canberra features strategic bunkering, water challenges and its undulating wide rye grass fairways provide a playing surface of very high standards. The sophisticated grounds of the golf course also include a Club House, brasserie, restaurant, indoor heated pool, sauna, spa, gym, tennis courts.
The country club specializes in corporate golf functions. For corporate golf events Gold Creek Golf Club can make arrangements for the entire event including choosing a format, sending invitations, transferring players to the course, totaling scores, allocating prizes etc.
