Magpies Belconnen Golf Club Canberra

The Magpies Belconnen Golf Club is located in the northwestern region of Canberra and is roughly twenty minutes from the Canberra city centre. The Golf Club is well maintained and its greens offer a rather fast game. Its eucalyptus and pine trees offer a fabulous background to the greens. The Golf club is very popular in Canberra and is quite crowded on weekends and school holidays.

The Magpies Belconnen Golf Club offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Brindabella Ranges. Its surrounding fairways, sand traps, water hazards and elevated tees all set in a mix of pine and gum trees offer you a golfing challenge in a beautiful setting.

The Magpies Belconnen Golf Club is rather strict about its dress code. All members and guests utilizing the club premises and golf course must be dressed in a clean, neat and tidy fashion at all times. One's foot wear too must be appropriate: this means no slippers or thongs.

The Magpies Belconnen Golf Club management authorities reserve the right to refuse entry onto the Golf Course or the Clubhouse if individuals do not adhere to the dress code or if their behavior is considered unacceptable.

The dress regulations are:-

- No metal spikes

- No singlets, abbreviated shorts, skirts or tops

- No football jumpers, shirts or socks

- No apparel with obscene or offensive printing or slogans

- No tracksuit or happy pants

- No thongs

The Belconnen Magpies Golf Club's clubhouse also has a rather nice bistro which provides lunch, dinner and snacks. Lunch is available from Tuesday to Saturday within 12 to 2PM. on Tuesdays and Wednesday Dinner is available within 5 and 8:30PM and on Thursdays to Saturdays within 5 and 9PM.
