The Darwin Crocodile Farm, Darwin has a captive breeding program of saltwater crocodiles, and has a global standing for its manufacture of raw skins, meat and by-products. An additional objective of the farm, handled by the Northern Territory Parks and Wildlife Commission's Crocodile Management Program, is to raise funds to protect the wild population of crocodiles in a sustainable manner.
The Darwin Crocodile Farm, Darwin is situated off the Stuart Highway about 40km south of Darwin. It remains open on all days of the week, excepting Christmas day, from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm. The entry fee to the Darwin Crocodile Farm, Darwin is $10 for adults, $8 for pensioners and $5.50 for children. However, discounts can be availed by groups and various cardholders like those with DEFCOM, API, Presidential Cards and some Youth hostel cards.
