Gold Coast has two monorail services. One service is available at Sea World and the other one is at Broadbeach. The monorail services are pretty fast. Thus, if you are in a hurry and want to avoid traffic congestion, then this is one of the best means of transportation.

The monorail at Sea World is a 2-kilometer stretch circuit that links it to the Sea World Nara Resort. It was inaugurated in the year 1986 and was the first monorail of Australia. A new monorail set was added to the original one after the Expo 1988. Its services are worth commending and everyday a large number of people board this train to travel to several places in Gold Coast.

Another monorail service is available at Broadbeach. This service connects the Oasis Shopping Center to Jupiter's Casino at Broadbeach. This is a 1.3-kilometer train route with three stations. This monorail service was inaugurated in the year 1989. There are a total of 4 trains that run on this line.

The monorails are a Von Roll Type train known for unique and modern design. They are extremely fast and ensure that the passengers reach their destination on time. The frequency of the trains is also good and hence one does not have to wait for too long. The monorails operate throughout the day from 7 in the morning till midnight.
