The Whale Beach is mostly frequented during the summer season. In Sydney, picnics area fun in the warm months of summer and hence a lot of families are seen making Whale Beach their destination. As a result, some volunteer lifesavers are appointed on duty, especially on the weekends and the public holidays when the pressure of the visitors remain more.
