Jimmy Liks Bar, Sydney started its operation from September 2002. It was the brainchild of owner Joe Elcham, architect Matthew Darwon and concept guru Rob Sample. Located on the outskirts of Sydney's nightlife hub, Kings Cross, this bar cum restaurant has won the hearts of the people here from the very day of its inception. Nuzzled in the leafy streets of Sydney's Potts Point, Jimmy Liks is a temptingly lit, contemporary restaurant and bar. Décor

The décor of this bar is simple but elegant. You will get the feel of Tokyo in this bar. As a mater of fact the ambience of the bar is similar to the bars in Ginza in Tokyo, Japan. The interior of the bar has a horseshoe layout with two entrances. The bar is on the right side while the restaurant is on the left. There are long linear table and bar with rear seating benches. The lighting system is very smooth and detailing. The walls are paneled with linear backlit and spline screens. It is one of the best spaces in Sydney to chat and dine with peer groups.

Food and Beverages

The Jimmy Liks Bar, Sydney is dedicated to provide delicious and mouth watering food along with exotic cocktail menu. The food of this bar cum restaurant has been inspired by the rustic hawker foods of Thailand & South East Asia. But it has developed its own unique style of modern Thai food. Served in the conventional Asian banquet style on long wooden communal tables, the atmosphere joins the food in its vibrancy. The food ranges from the classic 'must have' Salt & Pepper Cuttlefish to Vietnamese Braised Wagyu Beef. Infact you get here all the smell and taste of Asian food.

Similarly like the food, the beverages are also excellent. The cocktail bar has a very different kind of experience for everyone. The skilled, friendly bar team, headed up by bar manager, James Brandwood, guide you through the menu and create a cocktail experience to fulfill your desires and challenge your senses. The wines here go very well with the spicy food. Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris & Sauvignon Blanc dominate the white varieties, whilst Pinot Noir, Grenache & Shiraz the reds.
