The entire park was developed in memory of Xue Tao, who was a Tang Dynasty
female poet who loved bamboo and had written many poems in this park. The River
Viewing Pavilion (Wangjianglou) park is conveniently located in the southeast
area of Chengdu, off Wangjiang Lu and with Sichuan University to the northwest.
The park is open from 6:00am to 9pm daily and admission to the park is free.
