Rightly termed as a "natural botanical garden", this park is home to more than 3000 kinds of plants and provides a safe sanctuary to over 350 species of animals.

Longchi National Forest Park houses giant panda. Feeding on bamboo leaves, this extremely shy species is rarely seen in their natural habitat. Apart from panda, this park provides a safe sanctuary to the snub-nosed monkey. The dove tree is another major attraction in this park.

The scenic beauty of Longchi National Forest Park is however no less an eye candy. Walking on foot you would come across gurgling streams, lush green vegetation and flowers with all possible colors. In fact the park receives so much snow during winter that the park authority decided to hold the first ever Longchi Ice and Snow Festival in 1985.
