It is the first of its kind in China. Also, Wolong Panda Reserve is the most famous and the largest reserve for pandas in China. In the year 1980, it was made a part of the Man and Biosphere Reserve Network of UNESCO.
Today, there are about 150 pandas in Wolong Panda Reserve. Sixty-seven of them
are captive pandas. These pandas are managed and taken care of by the China
Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda. Each year, tourists and
visitors from different countries come to Wolong Panda Reserve and enjoy seeing
the pandas in their natural habitat. What's more, you can take pictures of your
