Xian is known for its historical relic shops. This home of Chinese terracotta warriors is often remembered by thousand tourists visiting their city by the souvenirs they purchase in Xian markets like Shu Yuanmen art street, Xian Antique Market, and Wenbaozhai Tour Shopping Center. Shu Yuan Men arts street located under the ancient city wall after the Forest of Steles in Xian, is a well-known avenue laid in the style of ancient Chinese city Shu Yuan Men. Dealers sell silk rugs, woolen blankets, silk clothing, jewels, jade articles, calligraphy, paintings, historical relics, antiques, model clay figures of warriors and horses, and bronze cars and horses - altogether 35 categories and more than 200 kinds of goods.

The Muslim Quarter in Xian houses one of the best souvenir street markets in China selling everything starting from Little Red Books to Arab Coffee pots. The hawkers sitting at the Terracotta army Museum offers replicas at negotiable price.
