The best time is considered to be from October to May. Temperatures vary between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit during this time and the nights remain cool. On the contrary, the days are sunny and hot. The time period between December and February isn't the best times for swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, as it gets quite cold and rainy. Again during March to May, there are chances of facing dust storms. So, it is best to visit Egypt in the cooler months between November and March.

But the peak season is mostly very crowded and expensive too as the airlines and hotels raise their prices by almost 30 percent. For those of you, who don't mind swampy temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit and also want to save a little money, can visit Egypt in summers.

Another option of avoiding a visit to Egypt during the top of the expensive season is to visit the country during late September and late October, when the heat has started to subside and the tourist frenzy hasn't yet started.
