The stone made Redeemer church is located in the middle of the town. It mostly collapsed during the Thirty Years' War. In the art and architecture of the church of
Redeemer, you can find the blend of different architectural style. Here you can find Christian buildings as well as Roman markets and forums. In this church you can find common prayer houses and shallow roof and on the other hand the lofty arches of the popular neo-gothic style, which is the sign of this kind of mixture.

The art and architecture of the Church of the Redeemer has several characteristics. Some of them are discussed bellow:
- The church is over 9 meter high, 18 meter long, and 8 meter wide building. Its eastern apse is surrounded by a covered arcade. In the front entrance, the row of towers is broken by two wide pilars of sandstone. Light enters the church's interior through the round arched window in the clearstory and the rose window on the western gable.
- The outer walls are made of yellow-rose bricks and are striped with blue varnish broken by yellow tiles. The church resembles a Greek temple from the pre-Christian times with its pitched roof and different devices.
- The Church of the Redeemer campanile contains a 600 year old bronze bell. It is the most popular object of the art and architecture of the church of Redeemer.
- In the middle of the plaque there is an Atlas supporting the globe and the beautiful plaque is made of green dolomite.
- There is an original free-standing, cedar wood altar table. This was destroyed in 1961. Since its reconstruction has not been possible because of missing documentation. Here you can find a stylistically similar copy of that now, stands in that place.

- The only gangway in the church lies on the western side.
- The simple church hall is dominated by Byzantine-style. It holds murals in the apse. On its glazed gold underside, there is Christ holding the Book of Life, surrounded by the four spiritual leaders like Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John with their symbols of the lion, eagle, man, and bull respectively. At the peak of the half-circle there is the dove representing the Holy Ghost. It is the most beautiful part of the church and also adds significance to the art and architecture of the church of the Redeemer.
