Cologne Zoo
If you come to Cologne, you can’t miss the zoo, popularly known as the Cologne zoo. The Aktiengesellschaft Cologne Zoological Garden is the zoo of Cologne, Germany It is the third largest zoo in Germany and is one of the most popular tourist attractions.Cologne zoo occupies around 48 acres of land in the northern suburbs of this German City.
Found in 1860, the zoo has many attractions that keep the visitors delighted, making the visit a memorable one, these include:-

Owl house
Aquarium
Monkey Island
Reptile house
Insectarium
Great ape section and many more.
The zoo is one of the few which breeds and takes care of the endangered animals. Around 140 human are committed to look after the 9000 animals, for whom this is their home.
In 2000, the latest addition to the elephant park was the rain forest hall. It is a free flight hall with free ranging birds and reptiles.
The zoo is home for some of the rarest species, which cannot be found in any other zoo in UK. Some of the animals that are bound to delight you are the Snow Leopards, Persian Leopards, Siberian Tigers, European Otter and Red Panda and many more.
