Mikuni Restaurant Frankfurt

Mikuni Restaurant Frankfurt

Mikuni is one Japanese restaurant that is quite popular among the expatriate Japanese in Frankfurt and there are quite a handful of them.
The place serves some great Japanese food mainly the Sushi ones and you can put all doubts to rest because there are certificates all over the place to prove the worth of the food.
There are some authentic touches including the signs in Kanji and raised tatami mat area which takes people to the land of the rising sun. The waitresses consist of a young lot and they gel quite well with the Japanese customers who smoke their lungs away while eating.
The business hours of the Japanese are very authentic Japanese as the place closes down by 10 in the night.
So it is definitely not the place you should try to go to if you are a night bird who doesn’t want to go to bed early. The place is definitely expensive and is supposed to dig a big hole in your pocket so make sure that you are fully stacked with cash before heading to this restaurant.
This place is known for its udon noodle soups and the tempura dishes are something that is worth trying.
If you are ready to shell out a little extra then you could manage to sit near the elaborately decorated bamboo area. The place can be weird in the sense that you might have to go through the kitchen to relieve yourself but keeping that fact apart the place is definitely a right place for authentic Chinese cuisine.
The place is unfortunately closed on Sundays so if you want to have authentic Japanese food in Frankfurt, Germany then you have to stick to certain timings to enjoy the spread.
