Justizpalast Munich
Munich has emerged as one of the popular tourist destinations. It is the capital city of Bavaria and also one of the most significant cities in Germany. The city harbors many prominent sightseeing spots. The Justizpalast, Munich is one of them and is often visited by tourists from all over the world.This palatial and stupendous building was constructed between 1891 and 1897 by the architect Friedrich von Thiersch. This well-planned celebrated architecture reflects an exquisite combination of Baroque and Renaissance styles. Justizpalast, Munich is one of the fine examples of the late nineteenth century German art and structure.
The extension of the eastern part of the Justizpalast, Munich can be seen from Karlsplatz. Its central portion is attractively carved and looks fascinating. It also features an amplified Attica. Just behind this Attica you will notice a magnificent dome made of glass and iron.
The Justizpalast, Munich or the Palace of Justice, was previously ruined in the War. Although later on the interior could not regain its lost charm and grace, it is nonetheless marvelous with a unique appeal of its own. On the northern part of this building lies the New Palace of Justice or Neue Justizpalast. This too was constructed by Thiersch in 1906-1908, and reflects a Gothic style of design and architecture.
Apart from Justizpalast, Munich, the city of Munich harbors some more remarkable and fabulous tourist attractions. Some of the notable churches in this city are St. Peter’s Church and Church of Our Lady. Among the castles and palaces, some of the commendable ones are Residenz Royal Palace and Blutenburg Castle. The Cultural Center, Olympic Tower, Munich Zoo and Fuhrer Building, are other prominent sightseeing places in Munich. There are also quite a few museums in Munich. To name a few are Museum of Antiquities, House of the Arts, Theresienwiese and Glyptothek Museum.
