St. Marks Cathedral, Bangalore was built in 1808 and further developed in 1901.It was consecrated by the Bishop of Calcutta in 1816. The cathedral which is cream colored is a beautiful colonial structure. It has a graceful dome over a semicircular chancel that transports the visitor virtually into peace. It is modeled on St.Paul's Cathedral of the 17th century. This cathedral was constructed keeping in mind the spiritual needs of army personnel and civilians who had moved in from Srirangapatna. One of the special features of St. Marks Cathedral is that the walls portray beautiful pictures of Roman archers.

St. Mary's Basilica a small chapel built by Abbe Dubois, French missionary. The structure was built in 1875-1882. The interior is splendid with stained-glass windows, multiple columns with rich Corinthian capital supporting stately arches.

The most noticeable feature of the church is the secular nature of the devotees.
St.Patrick'S Church was built by Gail-Hot, military Chaplain, in 1841.It was
again rebuilt in 1894. The Church is a prestigious one being an important place
for worship and weddings.
Holy Trinity Church a beautiful landmark at the east end of the M.G. Road was
built in 1848-51. It is built in the English Renaissance style. The church can
accommodate 700 people and is regarded as the largest military church in Southern
India.
