A visit to Bangalore in winter will also chance visitors on a famous flower show held on January (and later in August) in Lal Bagh, the 250-acre botanical gardens laid out by Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan over 200 years ago. A stroll in the evergreen Cubbon Park spread over an area of 500 acres dominated by the imposing granite building, the Vidhan Saudha in the pleasant climate is also tempting.

Winter might be the best time to go to Bangalore but that does not mean you cannot go there any other time. The various seasons offer their own range of festivals and events to choose from.
