Falaknuma Palace Hyderabad
The Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad is one of the marvelous palaces in Hyderabad. The Falaknuma Palace is located at the top of a hill with an elevation of 2000 feet and lies 5kms south of Charminar, the greatest historical landmark of Hyderabad.
This palace was erected by Nawab Vikar-ul-Umra who was the fifth Paigah Emir and later the ruler of Hyderabad Nizam VI bought it from him and used it as the guest house of the royalty. Currently the Falaknuma Palace is the property of Nizam VII's grandson- Nawab Mukarramjah Bahadur.
Originally the Falaknuma Palace was designed by an Italian architect and finally it was inaugurated in the year 1984 on 3 rd March. It took almost nine years to construct the palace. This palace flaunts an interior that is very well decked up with various embellishments. The palace was designed by an Italian architect and reflects the architectural style of the west.
The entire palace complex is made up of Italian marble and stands as a testimony to the architectural splendor of the Nizams of the Hyderabad.
