It was in 1897, that Theodor Herzl pronounced in the first World Zionist Congress, in Basel, Switzerland that if not in the coming 5 years but surely in 50 years the dream for a separate Jewish state will become reality. Ironically the United Nations approved the ideal exactly after 50 years. the year 1904 marked the death of the great leader and his remains were brought to Israel which were kept at the Mt. Herzl National Memorial Park in Jerusalem.
